Holiday Editions is a brand of holiday-themed apparel that manufactures an array of themed clothes to coincide with the seasons. It is exclusively sold at Kmart and Sears stores. Sears, Roebuck, and Company was founded in Chicago in 1886. It began as a mail-order catalog, and it opened its first retail stores in 1925. At first, Sears maintained its largest presence in major urban markets, but it expanded to the suburbs in the 1960s and '70s. It eventually grew into the largest retailer in the country until it was surpassed by Walmart in 1989.

Kmart was originally founded as the SS Kresge Corporation in 1899, and it had built hundreds of department stores by the 1940s. In 1962, the company opened its first Kmart discount store, and the new chain soon became the brand's largest venture. Both Kmart and Sears were in serious financial trouble in the early 2000s, so they decided to merge in order to save both retailers. Kmart officially purchased Sears, but the new parent company was named Sears Holdings. Today, more than 1,700 stores are operated under the two mastheads. The stores maintain their unique identities to some extent, but many of the exclusive brands are sold by both Kmart and Sears.

You can find Holiday Editions clothing in boys', girls', and women's sizes. The types of apparel that are available at any given time of year will vary depending on the season. In the spring, for example, you'll find several options for Easter. Clothes in sizes for toddlers and little girls include floral dresses, skirts, and cardigans. Women's tops for spring include tanks and tees in bright colors and pastels. For the summer season, outfits are geared toward the Fourth of July. Patriotic tops and dresses are available, and many of them either feature flag prints or prominently display red, white, and blue.

Autumn and winter are the two seasons when Holiday Editions has its largest clothing selections. Fall brings Halloween, and the brand offers both everyday outfits and Halloween costumes. For babies and toddlers, you can find onesies and other snug clothes that also double as costumes so that your tot will be comfortable for the holiday. Graphic tees for kids and adults feature popular emblems like pumpkins, skeletons, and witches. For the Christmas season, you'll find an array of formal kids' dresses and suits that can be worn to parties or church. The brand also has several unique holiday sweaters for women.
