Eddie works as a maintenance man at an amusement park--a life he himself sees as nothing much. But at the age of 83, he accidentally dies saving the life of a child. When he gets to heaven, he meets five people who show him that his life, though quiet and uneventful, was definitely not lived in vain.

"This is one of the best books I have ever read. Short, sad, but definitely sweet. This is a book I would pass on to others. The concept of heaven that is presented in this book isn't found in any religion that I know of, but it is definitely more impacting than any version of heaven I have ever heard of."
