Often we are asked when is the best time to send in certain items based on their season. The best time to send in your fall-winter items is at the end of summer, around July or August. Spring-summer items should be sent in before the end of winter, around January or February. When my brother and I were little, our dad read to us every night before bed. By the time I was 6, I’d experienced classics such as Adventures in Wonderland and Treasure Island. My mother was a preschool teacher for more than 20 years, so I grew up surrounded by books. I even remember my father reading to my brother and me when we were little. I’ve read Goodnight Moon and Where the Wild Things Are more times than I can count. There is something inherently magical about children’s literature.
